BS/MS in Accounting

The combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science with a major in accounting is a 153-semester-hour program designed to provide an appropriate base of knowledge for entry into the accounting profession, as well as a broad-based general educational background. Students awarded the Master of Science with a major in accounting are simultaneously awarded the Bachelor of Science with a major in accounting. (The Bachelor of Science with a major in accounting is not awarded separately.)

In addition to the departmental graduate admission requirements, a student must have a minimum overall program GPA of 3.0 and a minimum advanced accounting GPA of 3.0 in order to be admitted to the MS-Accounting.

Rigers Memko, BS/MS Accounting '16
Senior Associate, PwC

Rigers Memko joined PwC in 2016 and is a Senior Associate in the Private Company Services assurance practice. While at UNT, he earned an internship with PwC and accepted a full-time position upon graduating. At PwC, he provides a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Rigers loves his role at PwC as he leads multiple teams of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. He enjoys the changing environment in public accounting and the exposure to different industries and client management teams.
